I bought all 4 of them and I literally dropped my jaw when trying out each color for the first time! I had a very rough past 7 years feeling very down and less than due to some personal situations and relationships, and I must say these lip glosses/stains have reminded me that I AM sexy, and confident, and amazing! I know a lip color can’t have that much power, but these do! I do not wear makeup, so even with a bare face all the colors look amazing be it gloss or stain, AND yes they stay ON! Trixie, you are seriously revolutionary!!!
LOVE this scent, LOVE this colour. can dab it on lightly for a slight pink tint, can layer it for a thick gloss, can wipe it off for a gorgeous stain, i love her. i can’t stand the feel of lip products so this is a total win for me
Soft and smelled amazing, perfect match for any skin tone!
So buttery and long lasting! Fades into the perfect color
I decided to buy all four Soft Serve lip gloss stains just to try them out in lieu of regular lipstick. Here’s a super basic rundown.
PROS: These are very pigmented! All of the colors are vibrant. The current favorite is Berry Demure but I’ve always favored the berry shades when picking out lip colors. I love the stain that’s left once the gloss is gone.
CONS: It might be because I live a ways away from HQ, but there didn’t seem to be much product on the applicator when I opened and I thought it was dried out at first. When I applied each of them they were super streaky on my lips, too. That’s when I realized I can add another coat to help even it out, once the first layer is set.
Overall, if you’re new to lip stains there is a bit of practice involved but the end result is still satisfying. I’m still learning what looks to wear with these colors, but I’m excited to continue playing around and having fun! These are worth trying out.
