I am an East Asian woman with ambiguous olive undertones, and I have been on the hunt for a red lipstick that works harmoniously with my skintone. Fashionably Late has the perfect depth, warmth, and brown-ness to work for my complexion, whereas other brighter and cooler reds would make my skin look pallid and gray. As some other people have said, the lipstick bullet can be a little waxy and stiff for their liking, but I actually prefer this, as the resulting payoff is very lightweight and leans slightly matte/long-lasting. Even if I weren't a fan of the formula, the inimitable hue of Fashionably Late has me absolutely hooked. Please, I beg of you Trixie, never ever discontinue this color, as I have searched far and wide for a shade like this.
They sent me Trixie lipstick instead of Buttercream, very disappointing!

This is the most flattering lip color I have ever worn. It’s comfortable, not too warm. It’s perfection. I’ve bought a ton of trixie makeup but I can’t believe how insanely good this one is.
