when Trixie revealed these toppers I went feral, blacked out, and bought the bundle 2 seconds after 10 am PST on Thursday. Anyways, I tried them out for an outing with my cousin and because I have ADHD and 0 impulse control used all THREE (3) of them at once and was LIVING. I just put them on directly, no eyeshadow, the white on the inner corner, purple on the outer, and a dab of the gold in the middle and blended it with my finger like a heathen. I also put the gold on my cheekbones as highlighter because my favorite look is "covered in glitter" (like sometimes I'll go into a Lush and touch the gold glitter bath bombs just to rub it all over my face). Then I did a little eyeliner and went on my way.
I cannot stress enough how much I don't wear makeup for a myriad of reasons, but as a nonbinary genderfluid person who likes to look more androgynously masculine, having a face full of pretty glitter didn't make me feel more femme, it made me feel more Queer and Gender and Sparkly, so that's a big A+ for me. Considering I smudged it all over my eyes and I still got compliments speaks to how great this product is. I was expecting the gold and purple to be the most striking, but the white/aqua was the hero color on me. I can't speak to the fallout because more glitter on my face is a good thing in my book, but I did use a Nyx setting spray (maybe that's the issue) and still saw some glitter on my fingers whenever I touched my inner corner later in the day (maybe that's the other issue).
Regardless, I definitely plan to wear these more often, and I'm super excited to bust these out for my partner's holiday party and be the hottest person there.
Also I got a free surprise lipstick which I was very excited for but did not try on for more than 10 seconds because it's the literal color of this website's logo. Maybe I'll use it as a blush.
