      How to Use: Trace the natural shape of the lip to outline using the precision tip and press lips into place to set the shape. For a contoured lip look, fill in the corners of the mouth and smudge lips together until desired blend is achieved. Fill in empty space with desired lipstick and blend or top with lip gloss.

      Trixie’s Pro Tip: For a more dimensional look, pair with a lipstick of a lighter shade. For a glossier lip, top with the desired gloss.

I can't get these to work

I love the color of this pencil but it skips a lot on me. It's not smooth at all. I love the design but it's kind of waxy. For $18 I expect an even, constant line. The liner also doesn't feather well. I've tried exfoliating my lips and keeping a sharp tip but it never looks good. It makes me sad because I think they're super cute (I bought several of the 9 to 5 pencils) the consistency is just not it

Adorable Packaging, but Not the Right Shade for Fair Skin

The packaging is adorable, and I'm a huge fan of Trixie, but this shade just doesn’t suit my fair skin. I was aiming for a dark lip liner and gloss look, but this color leans too orange for my complexion. It’s quite similar to the Eden liquid matte lipstick I bought but rarely wear for the same reason—too warm for my skin tone.
