The quality is amazing
I do wish this was a little redder/rosier (I wish they all were, because I look like a corpse in brown), but when blotted it's a pretty good dupe for the discontinued Slopes! It lasts a long time, too. Lovely!
I really liked the consistency and the matte finish! The color was darker than the picture but it’s still great! The image shows a bright red but when put on and dried, it looks more brown.
Yay for Tracey finally making this lipstick color. As a daily red lipstick lady, I was disappointed this didn't hold up to my go-to. However, this reminds me so much of Chanel's formula, at a fraction of the price. It's a hard color to capture-- definitely has a slightly more rosy tone on me IRL than pictured below. (PS I'm fair w/neutral to warm undertones) I LOVE this as a blush!!
What I don't like: the bullet is really stiff, so you really have to work this into your lips. Photo below is one swipe vs 4. This definitely requires a lip liner bc it won't last on its own. Whatever. buy it anyway.
I ordered the product based on what the pictures online showed. Love the packaging, love the smoothness, love the feel. But the color is decidedly NOT what I thought I was getting. Fashionably Late looked very red in the photos, but is unmistakably brown in person. I do like it, but it’s very different from what I thought I was getting.
