Marshmallow Bestie Balm - Barb

Smells great but was expecting it to taste like the smell. Perfect size, have no complaints!

Makes my lips so shiny without changing the color. Also moisturizes and makes me feel good about what I’m putting on my lips. Good amount of shine. I apply mine with a brown or red liner if I want a hint of color but I love it plain. <3

Use: I put this on with my makeup to wear to work as my lip (I'm pretty low maintenance/a natural look person). I work in an office/research setting.

Pros: I think the formula is super moisturizing (on par with my carmex) and I love the small amount of sparkle and the packaging is adorable.

Cons: There isn't an applicator persay so if you aren't careful you can accidentally use too much. For me, the biggest drawback is the flavor. I'm not disappointed that it's not flavored to the scent, I more wish that there was some mitigation of the base flavor so it didn't taste like straight lip balm base. Addressing the flavor would change this to 5 stars.

Good to know:
The smell is a bit faint, which I can see as an intentional choice as too much scent might be off putting since some are more sensitive to scent than others.

Bottom line: I would repurchase this, and I would try the other scents.

Currently wearing this lip balm and I don't think I've even encountered one so long staying and lip softening. There's a tiny hint of subtle shimmer that makes you feel a tiny bit more sparkle in your everyday life or mornimg routine. It doesn't exactly give marshmallow scent to my nose, but it smells nice and natural, not overly sweet. Gave matching ones to my bestie who also loved them!

i picked up 'barb'. really fun, wonderful sparkle! it smells like marshmallow and the glitter is super sparkly and joyfull, but it's also incredibly comfortable. not sticky at all; i found it compatible with a cup of coffee. there's something about it that fulfills a very specific fantasy from childhood-- it's was everything i wanted glitter lipgloss from claires to be.
