Red Scare Liquid Lipstick Ultra-Matte Liquid Lipstick

I got my first liquid lipstick free from a TwitchCon event, and I KNEW I needed more colors! I bought 3 more. They're super smooth and not sticky when you put them on. If you go outside of your lip line, they wipe off easy when cleaning up. And most importantly, they stayed on while eating! Needless to say, I am a big fan. This was my first experience with Trixie Cosmetics, and I couldn't be happier!

The color is great and it didn't feather or move around my face, but it was always a very tacky consistency and *constantly* getting on my teeth. For most of a day, every time I smiled it was on my teeth, no matter how much I blotted, and it transferred to my cup when I had some water too. I finally washed it off in frustration in a bathroom. I guess it's back to the drugstore brand that actually works for me.

I was so excited to try the liquid version of Red Scare (i have the original lipstick too from the first release) I put it on in the car before I left for work. When I arrived at work I looked in the mirror and the lipstick had migrated well into the corners of my mouth and my uh....car snack of m&ms had taken with it the bulk of the center of the bottom lip and like 1/3 of the top lip so it looked like I had lined my lips in the most unhinged way. I wiped the rest of it off (it came off really easy- almost like a dry erase marker on a whiteboard) so i wouldn't have to worry about it for the rest of the day. I don't know if I'm going to need to figure out some kind of primer for this or what but I wasn't super into the wear. The color is great tho.

Absolutely fabulous red!

I love this so much. Perfect red.. not too warm. Packaging is adorable. Application is easy. Matte formula but still very comfortable to wear. Wore it on my honeymoon and it lasted well through a meal in the humidity (faded a bit but didn’t smudge so it never looked messy). Just gorgeous.
